A seriously cheerful collection of wonky flowers, happy little stars and dopamine-inducing colour.

Happy Daze leans into the growing love for dopamine decor, playful maximalism and everyday whimsy, where colour, character and a little bit of silliness are taking over from playing it safe.

Designed to bring joy and whimsy to the everyday, the collection combines cheerful characters, bold repeat patterns and unapologetically bright colour across homeware, stationery and accessories.

Beige has had quite enough airtime.

Meet the Happy Daze gang

It started with two little weirdos: a wide-eyed star and an cutesy cheerful flower.
I wanted both characters to have enough personality to work on their own, while sharing the same visual language so they could become part of one bigger collection.

Building the patterns

I turned each character into its own repeat pattern, using the same punchy palette of electric blue, hot pink, yellow and green to tie everything together. The star became the bolder, graphic print, while the flower pattern brings in a little more movement and chaos.

These product visualisations explore how my original illustrations and repeat patterns could translate into physical products, from cushions and bedding to notebooks, mugs, wrapping paper and accessories.
